I come from Germany and I have spent about eight month in Nepal now.
I was walking through the country, I met many people, and I heard a lot of and
feel very close to Nepal. It was my heart, which brought me to Nepal, not my
mind and Nepal was the first country outside of Europe, I was travelling to.
Now, I am staying in HANSADA YOGA ASHRAM near Banepa. There, I completed the
course STATO DYNAMIC YOGA CULTURE and I studied CHARACTEROLOGY. This is the
program of SWAMI SACHCHIDANANDA VISHUDDHA DEV, and after this, I became his disciple.
I want talk to you Nepali women and men and I want tell you, Nepal is a
wonderful country and it is yours and your mothers and fathers merit that it is
like this. You can be proud of your country and you should love and protect it
from your heart. Nepal is a powerful spiritual country, the country is not poor.
And in the name of poverty you are going to loose your spirituality.
Of course, there is also poverty and there is a lot to do. Everybody should
have fulfilled his daily needs, that means, clean and healthy water, good
healthy food, a place to live, clothes and very important education for
everybody, girls and boys equally. The country Nepal is rich, because it has
the highest mountains of the world, it is the roof of the world, land of
Everest, and that shows the spiritual height of Nepal. Nepal is also the second
richest country of water in the world. It has fruitful earth, wonderful jungle
and it has people with open heart and a very good character.
Because of the high commercial influence from the western countries, Nepali
people think that all people from the west are rich and all Nepali people are
poor and that everything what comes from the west is better as that what they
have. This is a very dangerous thinking. First of all it is not true. Also in
the western countries are poor people and also in Nepal are rich people. For
most of the Nepali people I am also rich, but in my country I am not rich at
all. I have little more as I need for my daily life, I saved it and I spend it
here. You should not think that you are poor. WHAT YOU THINK, THAT YOU ARE.
Poverty or richness is a feeling. I feel very rich, because I am human, not an
animal. I live humanity I am healthy, I am spiritual, I am intelligent and I
have what I need for my daily life, when I work for it. And these are the most
important things. I feel very happy in my inside and that is spirituality. When
I am one with God. HAPPINESS IS GOODLINESS. The material world is only there to
support me in my spiritual being.
When you think you are poor, than you feel bad. What I also see is, that many
of you become beggar, become greedy, become criminal. The modern lifestyle
needs lot of money, but how to get it? Many people use their energy only for
this thought, how to get money. And they are never satisfied, also when they
can bay this and that, it is never enough and it never ends, because material
things never keep their promise. People want became independent and they became
dependent on the new Gurus like alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, sex, clothes,
motorbike and so on. For this they loose their honesty and their responsibility.
We did all these mistakes in the Western countries, do not do the same as we
did. Because we did not understand Christianity, our religion, we left it, we
threw it and we searched our happiness in the material world. We did not find
it. And therefore millions of people from all over the world come to Nepal to
drink from this sweet nectar of your culture of your spiritualism, to
participate from this richness, to find the truth about human beings about
themselves. Nepal is a spiritual magnet for these people from these foreign
countries. Nepal has the potentiality, the personality and the individuality
for supranational spirituality all around the world. And that is what I also
found in Hansada Yoga Ashram through my daily yoga practice and through my
talks with Swamiji. I appreciate and I honour very much these people who
showed to me their open heart, their deep respect, their love, their deep
happiness. Thank you very much.
I accept from the core of my heart the Guru Country Nepal.
